Item Description

Little Joe is a very attractive gelding that was used on a ranch, he has done many facets of ranch life from checking on and moving cattle from pasture to pen, sorting pairs, pushing cattle onto trailers. He has been to playdays and we have used him trail/pleasure rides. He rides with a loose one hand neck rein, has a good backup, stop and side pass. He is smooth at the walk, trot, and canter. He will ride the same way every time you ride him once a week, once a month, or once a year.
Little Joe has no problem with you carrying a flag, or opening/closing gates, he will walk down streams, over fallen trees, has no problem walking up/down steep ditches and ravines, he will go anywhere you point him, through thick brush, in the woods with no spook. We have been using him on our trails and in our obstacle course walking on plastic bottles, across bridges, walking across the teeter-totter, and in the arena going around the barrels and poles.

Little Joe is good while being saddled/bridled, clipped, groomed, sprayed for flies, picking his feet, being mounted (from the ground or a mounting block), while standing tied or cross tied, stands for the vet/farrier, he loads and hauls very well. He is easy to catch, is gentle, and he is a very in your pocket type. He is kid and dog friendly and gets along with all of our other horses (mares and geldings alike). He is not dominant, he is a low man on the totem pole.

Online Event Pre-Bidding

This item is set for online auction pre-bidding for the event. As a result, the high bid for the selected item as of completion of the online bidding portion of the event on Saturday, June 13 at 9:23 PM will be transferred to the live event starting on Saturday, June 13 at 7:30 PM where FURTHER BIDDING is possible. If you are higher bidder for this item at the conclusion of the online bidding portion, this does not mean that you have won the item. Only if you are still the high bidder at the conclusion of the live event, you will be invoiced for your won item and your credit card will automatically be charged at that time. If you are the eventual high bidder at the conclusion of the live event and are not at the event, you will be contacted and/or notified with further instructions regarding item pickup.
