Rumor is a beautiful sorrel mare that is gentle for most anyone to ride. She has been used on a ranch to sort and pen cattle. She has also done playdays and we have been doing trail rides on her. She has no startle or spook in the arena, pasture or trails. She rides with a loose one-hand neck rein, a great backup and stop. She is very smooth at the walk, trot, and canter.

We have ridden her on our trails 67 acres in the woods, on our obstacle course, across bridges, pushing swing pipes, and on the teeter-totter. She has no problem letting you carry a flag, she will side pass to open and close gates, she has no problem walking across water/mud, down streams, through thick brush, she'll go up/down/across deep ditches and ravines, over fallen trees, through the woods with no spook. She is kid and dog-friendly, has great ground manners, is easy to catch, and gets along with our other horses, mares, and gelding alike. She isn't mare-ish. ​

Rumor has great ground manners and is easy to handle. She stands very well for being saddled and bridled, bathed, and groomed, while being sprayed for flies, for picking her feet, standing tied and in cross ties, for being mounted (from the ground or a mounting block), and for the vet/farrier. She loads and hauls very well. She is the type of horse that you can ride every day, once a week, or once a month, and he will ride the same.

If you are higher bidder for this item at the conclusion of the online bidding portion, this does not mean that you have won the item. Only if you are still the high bidder at the conclusion of the live event, you will be invoiced for your won item and your credit card will automatically be charged at that time. If you are the eventual high bidder at the conclusion of the live event and are not at the event, you will be contacted and/or notified with further instructions regarding item pickup.
