We are pleased to offer our 2008 AQHA stallion Colonel Smoke Tari for your breeding consideration. “Gator” is a gentle soul with straight legs, big bones, and great feet, which he consistently passes to his offspring. They are conformationally correct, intelligent and easy to train. His foals have excelled in the box and have gone on to compete in roping and cow horse events.
Gator is a grandson of #3 all time leading sire Smart Chic Olena. A product himself of Texas A&M breeding, Gator goes back to Doc Tari, Colonel Freckles, and Mr Gun Smoke. Here is your chance to incorporate these star bloodlines into your breeding program.
This stallion is available for live cover only during the 2026 breeding season. Mare care charges of $20 per day will apply. The breeding location is in Palestine, Texas.

Online Event Pre-Bidding
This item is set for online auction pre-bidding for the event. As a result, the high bid for the selected item as of completion of the online bidding portion of the event on Saturday, January 31 at 8:29 PM will be transferred to the live event starting on Saturday, January 31 at 8:00 PM where FURTHER BIDDING is possible. If you are higher bidder for this item at the conclusion of the online bidding portion, this does not mean that you have won the item. Only if you are still the high bidder at the conclusion of the live event, you will be invoiced for your won item and your credit card will automatically be charged at that time. If you are the eventual high bidder at the conclusion of the live event and are not at the event, you will be contacted and/or notified with further instructions regarding item pickup.
