Twister will make a wonderful western all-around horse. She showed in an open schooling show as a 6 year old in the green rider class in November 2025 and placed 5th in the Trial Class and 9th in the Western Pleasure Class. She has the ability to do much better in shows with an experienced western pleasure rider. Twister was trained in 2023 as a western pleasure horse and has a nice slow and low trot and lope if you know how to ask for it.
An intermediate trainer who has never ridden western pleasure class before has been working with this mare and her owner, since Jan 2025, to help them work together better. The current owners were assured that she would be a good beginner rider horse, but she really needs at least an intermediate rider as she can be a little agitated and spooky at times.
Clean legs and (ask if sound in the ring) She is ready to find her new show partner and make it big in the ring. She has been handled daily, lunges, loads and hauls. She’s turned out with a mare and gelding and acts like the head mare. Super easy to handle, be around, and enjoys exploring her surroundings.
